PERSONAL PROPERTY REVIEW

Comprehensive Property Tax Consultants & Property Tax Outsourcing Specialists

A personal property tax review consists of an analysis of the taxpayer’s information required to submit on the rendition to the jurisdiction. This may include an asset scrub to determine the potential misclassification of assets or the inclusion of potential ghost assets, which are assets that are still on the books, but no longer in service. This review also identifies if there are any additional forms of physical, functional, or external obsolescence that may be quantified to reduce the assessed value of the assets. Review of any non-taxable or excludable assets from the taxable base will also be performed.
